Intercultural community garden Prohlis
The intercultural community garden on the corner of Dohnaer Straße and Georg-Palitzsch-Straße is a subsidized project for people from Prohlis and the surrounding area. It is run by the Verbund Sozialpädagogischer Projekte e. V. (VSP).
Since May 2017, around 70 people from different cultures and generations have been creating a lively green oasis in the heart of Prohlis on over 1,200 square meters.
We grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers in the individual and communal beds.
Respect, tolerance and mutual support characterize everyday life in our garden.
We focus on encounters and exchanges, community participation and organic farming. We organize workshops, events and festivals together.
Anyone who enjoys gardening and community can join in and is very welcome!

- Honey bees and soon honey from our garden
